Michelle Avincula was my nurse today. Today, and every other time I’ve seen Michelle, she has brought healing energy and treated me effectively and with loving kindness. This stands out in my experience at Worthing Medical Group.

Unfortunately, the feedback concerns waiting lists, difficulty in seeing a GP in person and long waits to get through to reception. If I call the surgery at 8:00, there will be 20 people ahead of me. If I call at 8:05, there will be 30. I understand that this is a symptom of the NHS crisis. I think the WMG could do some brainstorming with selected patients and each branch of the medical personnel to find a solution? All of us, your patients, are hugely invested in WMG and the hard working staff.

Making an appointment is quite easy and I am very grateful to the surgery for the care I receive. It has quite literally been a lifesaver.

The reception team are great, always helpful, efficient and understanding and the in-house pharmacy is very convenient. From my personal experience I find it a good practice, but I rarely see the same Dr twice these days which makes my care feel a bit disjointed.

It would be nice to see the same dr more often, rather than keep chopping and changing. Like the majority of people I dislike the ‘ring at 8am’ appointment system and prefer the good old days when you could call and book an appointment for any day in the week. It was more convenient, less stressful, and less of a lottery.

I had an appointment with HCA vivienne and she was amazing. She gave the best care I have received whilst being under the care of worthing medical group. The appointment was easy to get after being seen by nurse kirsty from the asthma clinic, although the waiting time for the follow-up appointment is rather long.

When receiving follow-up calls it would be nice to know whether I will receive the call on the morning list or afternoon.
